It is the enthusiasm of the caregivers that work for us and provide quality care to our clients that makes Carefree Homecare the leading provider of home care and companion services in the greater Phoenix area.

That’s a bold statement, but read why we say this:

  • Training: We believe our company provided training programs are second to none among Arizona home care providers.
  • We have our own 300 square foot state of the art training room to teach our caregivers how to perform all of the necessary skills required of them for their job as a caregiver.
  • Unlike many of our competitors who use “voluntary” unpaid training programs on the internet, all of our training is “required” and all of our caregivers are paid while attending our training classes.
  • New hires must attend an initial 4-6 hour orientation and training class.
  • All caregivers are required to attend and complete at least six (6) in-service training classes each year.
  • All caregivers who have been with us at least 90-days are enrolled in an 8-hour training class on “Directed Care” for Dementia and Alzheimer’s.  This training program has been provided by the Foundation for Senior Living since July of 2010.
  • About 40% of the graduates from the Foundation for Senior Living program are then provided with another 4-5 hours of “Directed Care” training in order to make them an “Alzheimer’s Whisperer ” caregiver.
  • Maturity: Our caregivers average about 50 years of age, so compassion, compatibility, understanding, patience and dependability comes with them.
  • Vacation pay: Our caregivers earn paid vacation time as they work.  The more they work the more vacation time they earn.  (This is an extremely rare benefit in our industry.)
  • Health Insurance: All full-time caregivers are eligible for our comprehensive PPO group health insurance plan after 90-days of employment.  (If offered, many companies require a 6-month eligibility period.)
  • Travel time: Our caregivers are always paid mileage and travel time between client assignments.
  • Top pay: Our caregivers earn a Phoenix industry top pay range, plus a weekend pay differential.
