abaThe
difference between just being in the Home Care business and actually caring
are the caregivers and management of Carefree Homecare.
It
is the enthusiasm of our caregivers that work for us and provide quality
care to our clients that makes Carefree Homecare the leading provider
of home care and companion services in the greater Phoenix area.
That’s a bold statement, but read why we say this:
- Training:
In 2008, we began training our caregivers under the guidelines of
the new Arizona Direct Worker training program. Certification requires
successful completion of a 40-hour training program including testing.
We provide new employee training classes and require annual in-service
refresher training of all caregivers and companions.
- Maturity:
Our caregivers on average are over 50-years of age, so compassion,
compatibility, understanding, patience and dependability comes with
them.
- Vacation
pay:
Our caregivers earn paid vacation time as they work. The more
they work the more vacation time they earn. (This is an extremely
rare benefit in our industry.)
- Health
Insurance:
All full-time caregivers are eligible for our comprehensive
PPO group health insurance plan after 90-days of employment.
(If offered, many companies require a 6-month eligibility period.)
- Travel
time:
Our caregivers are always paid mileage and travel time between client
assignments.
- Top
pay:
Our caregivers earn a Phoenix industry top pay range, plus a weekend
pay differential.
No company does more to ensure your
safety and wellbeing.
- Bonded:
All our caregivers are covered under our theft bond.
- Insured:
All our caregivers are covered under our corporate liability insurance
policy.
- No
Drugs Allowed:
We are one of the few home care companies that require pre-employment
drug testing and employees are subject to random testing thereafter.
- TB:
Annual testing for active TB on all caregivers.
- No
criminals need apply:
We conduct a two stage criminal background check and require all caregivers
and companions to have an Arizona issued Fingerprint Clearance Card,
which is processed by the FBI.
- CPR/First
Aid:
All our employees are required to maintain current certifications
in CPR and First Aid. The company provides renewal training
several times a year.
- DMV:
We check the driving records of all our caregivers through the Arizona
Department of Motor Vehicles.
- Insurance:
All our caregivers, when driving a client in their car, are covered
under our “non-owned and operated” insurance policy in
addition to their own car insurance.
Providing quality care is our only
business.
